Duties and Responsibilities

The Systems Analyst/Programmer is a team member in developing and supporting in-field software products which allow safeguards inspectors to work effectively in approximately 1000 nuclear facilities. 

Partnerships 
The Systems Analyst/Programmer liaises with customers to ascertain and investigate their functional and non-functional requirements, and seeks approval from users; in addition, he/she liaises with software vendors and contractors to obtain and manage services, negotiate contracts, define software and hardware requirements, and to obtain information on relevant information technology. 

REQUIRED Education, Experience and Language Skills 

University degree or equivalent in computer sciences or a related field. 
Five years of practical working experience in programming, including at least three years of recent experience with the development of client-server and web-based multi-tier applications. 
Experience with system design and development in a Windows environment with object-oriented and component-based software development. This includes such platforms as; IBM mainframe computer, Windows 2000 and 2003 server and client, UNIX workstation and stand-alone personal computer; development tools such as Visual Studio Team System, ASP.NET 2.0, SQL Server 2005, Biztalk, Sharepoint, Java/JRUN, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Workflow Foundation (WF), Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and reporting with Microstrategy. 
Experience in using a quality management approach in software engineering procedures. 
Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish desirable.
