Media Managers Vacancies in Nigeria
Media managers wanted in Nigeria. The group is part
of global Ogilvy, Mindshare and WPP, the largest communications group in
the world. As part of its growth plans, the group requires the services of media
managers.
Job Description
Acting in liaison and supervisory roles between its agencies and its
media independent arm
Job Responsibilities
Planning and buying media
Negotiating good volume discounts for clients
Obtaining tear sheets, COTs and/or materials from our media independent
unit and the media houses
Obtaining and processing COTs, managing media, monitoring reports and
preparing PBAs
Preparing quarterly media reports
Collating monthly competitive media reports
Ensure campaign plan compliance
Providing routine and sundry media information
Providing general media management services, basic media relations,
negotiations etc.
Qualifications
A good first degree. A second degree will be an advantage. Must be APCON
- registered. 3-5 years' active work experience in similar position.
Knowledgeable across all local, regional and international media
channels
Quick thinker. Able to generate the most up-to-date media requirements
(research data, facts, demos, figures etc)
Working knowledge of non-mass media and new media channels
Knowledge of media content ownership and barter is an advantage.
Remuneration
Very competitive and well above industry average
