Job announcement for
Nigeria Police Force Recruitment Exercise - Job
in Nigeria
The Nigeria Police public announcement was placed to
inform members of the public, particularly prospective candidates who
have applied, or wish to apply for recruitment into the Police Force as
CONSTABLES, that the exercise is to resume through the Federation from
Monday, August 23, 2010 to Monday, September 13, 2010.
All those who have submitted duly completed forms are to be screened on
a date to be announced later.
Prospective candidates who to apply may download the forms FREE OF
CHARGE from the Nigeria Police website at
www.npf.gov.ng
For the avoidance of doubt, only candidates with ND, NCE and 'A' Level
certificates shall be considered. No special advantages shall accrue to
candidates who apply with higher qualifications.
In addition, candidates must possess the following:
1. AGE: Between 18 years and 25 years of age
2. HEIGHT: Not less than 1.67 meters (5'6") for males and 1.63
meters(5'4") for females
3. CHEST MEASUREMENT: Expanded chest measurement for males only, must
not be less than 86 meters (34")
4. PHYSICAL FITNESS: Candidates must not have any physical deformities
like knock-knees, bow-legs, flat -feet, malformation of teeth, defective
sight or squint eyes.
Candidates must pass a comprehensive medical examination conducted in an
acceptable government hospital.
5. CHARACTER CERTIFICATION:
Candidates must be of good character attested to by a person of note,
such as a Priest, Imam, Senior Government Official, Senior Police or
Military Officer or their Traditional Ruler.
Candidates are to submit duly completed application forms with
photocopies of all credentials claimed, to the Commissioner of Police in
their in their States of Origin, not later than September 13, 2010.
