Civil Engineer Project Manager Job and Career opportunity in Nigeria

The client is a medium sized construction company based in Nigeria. It currently has a number of big contracts to carry out and as a result require an experienced Project Manager with civil engineering experience.

The Role:

The successful candidate is expected to be an experienced, committed and energetic leader to work within their civil engineering division

and will involve working on the construction and maintenance of numerous highway and building projects.

For this project it is important that the successful candidate has extensive knowledge and relevant experience in overseeing the design and construction of roads, drainage systems, infrastructure and buildings.

Your role will be to plan, monitor and control the project to completion within the agreed time and budgetary constraints.

Specified technical and quality standards must also be achieved and adhered to.

Duties/responsibilities will include:

Motivating and leading large teams of in house staff and subcontractors.

Maintaining and developing excellent working relationships with clients.

Delivering projects with the utmost safety.

Delivering projects on time and to budget.

Ensuring training standards are maintained. Identifying and controlling operational
risk and opportunities.

Ensuring site standards are maintained

Monitoring progress and giving update reports to the client .

Experience

The candidate must have: Experience of road construction and project management
