MTN Nigeria, GSM Telecom provider is inviting applications for the position of IS Project Manager

Qualifications (in order of Preference):

- Relevant 1st Degree

- Post Graduate qualification in project management would be an advantage

Experience & Training:
Minimum of 6 years applicable business experience with at least 4 years formal project management experience
Project management experience in a telecommunications business environment or in a customer care and billing systems (CC&BS) or an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems environment will definitely be an advantage

Job Summary:

Responsible for planning and managing IS deployments in FCs, B2Bs, Connect Stores, and any new MTN sites requiring IS input
Communicate progress of projects to relevant project stakeholders
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to specifications
Manage documentation process to ensure completeness and easy referral to project documents
Work with other members of the project team to develop cost-effective, value-adding IS solutions on each project
Direct and apply Project Management standard activities, such as:
§ Project Initiation
§ Requirements gathering
§ Development of project plans - Schedule, work plans, communication plan, Quality plan, Issues and Risk management plan etc
§ Progress meetings and Reports
§ Projects Integration
§ Management Presentation
Drive a customer-centric service organisation between IS and its customer base
Maintain prescribed quality standards
Promote awareness, visibility, and compliance to PPPs
Create projects knowledge repository system
Vendor management .
