NICOMM 2007 Nigeria's ICT Exhibition and Conference
22-10-2007- NICOMM 2007 Exhibition and Conference, the 12th
yearly international telecommunications and information technology (IT)
expo organised by the Association of Telecommunications Companies of
Nigeria (ATCON) holds in the MUSON Centre, Lagos, Nigeria, October 22 -
24, 2007.
Leading local telecommunications operators and information technology
providers are in addition expected to display their products and
services for the massive Nigerian market. Government parastatals as well
other private sector participants in the banking and finance industries
will be showcasing their ICT driven products and services. According to
a ATCON release, “a sizeable number of public officials and chieftains
of industries to participate in the event. These include the vice
president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; state governors; Senate
president, chairmen and members of senate and House committees on
Communication; minister of Information & Communications; minister of
Science and Technology, ministers of state for Energy; executive vice
chairman of NCC, director-general NITDA; director-general, NBC;
director-general, BPE, and executive secretary, Nigerian Investment
Promotion Council”.
