1. BACKGROUND/POSITION
The National Health Insurance Scheme a parastatal of the Federal
Ministry of Health with its Head Office at Utako, Abuja, is desirous of
employing a qualified and highly skilled Professional to head its
Media and Public relations Unit.
3. THE CANDIDATE
The candidate must be thoroughly versed in the strategies of health
communication for development and has the ability to effectively
disseminate the information, particularly in the rural communities.
He/She should possess a deep knowledge and expertise in the tactics of
media campaigns and must enjoy an appreciable goodwill in the print or
electronic media where he/she must have worked for at least ten (10)
years.
4. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
The candidate must possess a degree in Mass Communication or any of the
Social Science. Masters in any relevant discipline will be an added
advantage; Cognate Media experience in national or international health
related organisations will be an added advantage.
