Bureau of Computer Services and Information Technology Jobs
The services of experienced
System/Network/Database Administrators & Infrastructure Engineers, and
Web Designer/ Developer are required by the Bureau of Computer
Services and Information Technology on non-pensionable contract basis.
The ideal candidate should possess the following technical skill with
proven evidence of deep knowledge and experience in the following areas:
A. Web Designer / Developer
Good graphic design skill;
Using of various codes such as HTML, XTML, JavaScript, ASP, Cold fusion,
Java
Web Design programme such as Dreamweaver, Flash, and Swish
Graphic Design Packages such as fireworks, Coreldraw, Photoshop etc.;
Skill in Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), e-commerce and Server Side
Technology such as PHP, ASP, Perl and Internet Security;
Object Oriented Programming, MYSQL and SQL
Knowledge of IIS, Linux and Apache Server is an added advantage
Academic Qualification:
The candidate should be a holder of OND, HND or a B.Sc. degree in
Computer Science/Engineering or any other related field. He/She should
be very good in web design, development and management, and should be
able to work without any supervision..
B. Systems / Network / Database Administrators
and Infrastructure Engineers
BSC/HND in Computer Science/Engineering or other appropriate numerate
sciences with Microsoft / Linux / Cisco / Oracle Certifications and
relevant working experience.
Experience Required
At least three (3) years of post qualification cognate / practical
experience in network support and systems administration or database
administration. Proven track record in network and physical security,
Active Directory, Scripting, Windows 2003 security and policy, and Cisco
Internetworking equipment, etc. A sound working knowledge of Linux
Administration including Apache, Squid and iptables shall be an added
advantage.
