Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited NIGCOMSAT, a key
player in the Satellite Industry with ambitious growth plans and global
aspirations requires the services of dynamic, first class professionals
in her IT Department. NIGCOMSAT is a company under the Federal Ministry
of Science Technology whose mission is to be the leading communication
satellite operator and service provider in Africa. NIGCOMSAT is a public
private partnership with the private sector envisaged to have a
controlling share.
REF: NCSL/IT-01 SENIOR OFFICER-SAP Business One
Admin Support.
The Role requires a proven capacity for planning and management of all
goals and objectives of the SAP Support Group.
Skills & Competencies
SAP Business One and Security-hands on installation and maintenance
skills.
Technical fluency in UNIX and Oracle database administration.
Team Leadership skills and all aspects of employee management.
Good Project management skills.
Knowledge of enterprise level applications.
Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices
and methodologies.
Strong Customer service orientation.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to impart ideas in both
technical and user-friendly language.
A self starter with keen attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Experience and Education
3-5 years working experience administering SAP applications (SAP Basic,
SAP Business One, Portal, BW and Net Weaver). Also supervisory
experience and skills is an advantage. A degree in Computer Science,
Information Systems with requisite training in SAP Basic and Security
Certification
REF:NCSL/IT-02 WEB DEVELOPER
The role requires requisite knowledge and experience in Business Systems
to provide expert and architectural and advisory services. The candidate
will get the project started and lead junior developers.
Skills & Competencies
Experience and fluency in CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, DHTML, and
Illustrator.
Knowledge of .NET, C#, MS SQL Dream Weaver/Fireworks, Applications/ERP
programming background is an advantage. Experience in packages such as
Epicor, SAP B1, Great Plains is a plus.
A firm knowledge in free flowing design forms and is able to cascade
work via online portfolio.
Ability to implore creativity in presenting complex information in
logical format to ease Users ability to access and understand
information.
Excellent oral written skills to effectively interact with internal and
external customers and department staff.
Experience and Education
A University Degree in Software engineering is required with 3-5 years
hands-on experience in software development.
