The Nigeria LNG Limited Scholarship Award Scheme

The Management of Nigeria LNG Limited wishes to invite interested undergraduates in tertiary institutions in Nigeria, to apply for the Year 2007 / 2008 NLNG Scholarship Award.

The purpose of the scheme is to promote academic excellence amongst undergraduates in tertiary institutions in Rivers State and the rest of the country, in support of its commitment to sustainable development.

Intending candidates are advised to forward hand-written applications and resumes stating the following:

Full name (Surname first)
Sex
Name of institution
Mode of entry
Year of admission
Matriculation number
College/faculty
Course of study and duration
Present level at the time of application
Town
Local government area
State of origin
Personal contact address (please use street address, not P.O. box)
Contact telephone number.

Applicants should include the following:

* Photocopy of University Matriculation Examinations (UME) scores.

* Photocopy of JAMB and University Admission Letters.

* Photocopy of WAEC/NECO/GCE/O'Levels of A' Level results.

Photocopy of last semester result (showing grades).
Photocopy of school identity card.
Two recent passport sized photographs.
Letter of identification from local government of origin.
Two self addressed envelopes.

Please note that only qualified applicants shall be short-listed for the selection tests.

The following candidates need not apply:

Beneficiaries of other scholarship schemes.
Final year students
Part-time students.

Entry closes on October 31, 2007. Late entries and candidates with more than one application shall be disqualified.

Envelopes should be clearly marked "NLNG Scholarship Award for 2007/2008" on the top left-hand corner of the envelope
