The Ekiti State Government in Nigeria is instituting an overseas Scholarship Award for Ekiti State students wishing to pursue Post Graduate studies overseas.

Free Applicant forms for Students who wish to pursue postgrade studies overseas are available at the Ekiti State Scholarship Board, New Secretariat, Ado-Ekiti from Tuesday 11th March, 2008 to Wednesday 9th April, 2008.

2. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
All applicants for Postgraduate Scholarship must hold a Master's Degree or at least first degree 2nd class upper.
Evidence that the Applicant is an indigene of Ekiti State.
Letter of admission to pursue postgraduate studies abroad.
Evidence of part payment of tuition fess in the Institutions of study abroad.

3. METHOD OF APPLICATION
(a) Only candidates who possess the basic qualifications as specified above should complete the application forms.
(b) Candidates are advised to make only one entry. Those who make multiple entries will have their entries rejected.
(c) Completed application forms must be legible.
(d) Incorrect completion of forms will lead to disqualification
Application forms are obtained free of charge at Ekiti State Scholarship Board, New Secretariat, Ado-Ekiti.

4. INSTRUCTIONS

As much as possible, complete the form fully and answer all questions in the spaces provided; If necessary attach additional sheet.

5. All completed application forms must be accompanies with:

(i) Authenticated photocopies of educational certificates (on no account should original certificates be sent) SSCE/NECO statement of result must be authenticated by WAEC/NECO.

(ii) Two size coloured passport photograph must be attached to the application form.

(iii) Photocopies of Birth Certificate/statutory declaration of age duly stamped, signed and dated.
(iv) Academic transcript and NYSC discharge certificate
(v) Candidates for the overseas postgraduate scholarship programme must not be more than 40 years of age.

6. Date of Submission: All completed application forms should be returned in sealed envelopes on or before Friday 11th April, 2008
Late application form(s) will not be accepted by the board
