Arik Air
Engineers/Pilots Sponsorship Programme at the Nigerian College of
Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria
Arik Air Limited, a domestic airline
operator in Nigeria instituted a scholarship scheme in October
2006, for the training of pilots and aircraft engineers at the Nigerian
College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria. The first set of 15
students for the Standard Pilot Course is due to graduate in November
2008.
To keep the programme running, Arik Air will be sponsoring another batch
of students to NCAT in January 2009 to undergo the Aircraft Maintenance
Engineering Course and Standard Pilot Course.
Applications are therefore invited from suitably qualified candidates to
be sponsored by Arik Air Limited for the Aircraft
Maintenance Engineering Course and Standard Pilots Course which
will last from between 18-24 months at NCAT, Zaria.
Interested applicants must have the following qualifications:
1. For Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course: First Degree in
Mechanical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with at least 2nd
Class Upper or Higher National Diploma (Upper Credit).
Age: not more than 30 years.
2. For Standard Pilot Course: First Degree in any discipline with 2nd
Class lower OR Higher National Diploma (HND) with Lower Credit.
Age: Not more than 25 years.
Applicants for the Standard Pilot Course must also be medically fit.
