Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW) Professional

Prosoft's CIW program "is the world's largest and fastest-growing Internet certification. CIW is a comprehensive information technology certification for the knowledge economy, with specific job roles and vendor-neutral content covering multiple hardware and software vendors".
It is an accepted vendor-neutral certification that validates Web skills for managing and developing websites.
CIW's foundation level certification CIW Associate requires passing one exam to become CIW certified. This industry standard certification exam covers internet, page authoring, and networking basics.

Certified Dreamweaver MX Developer
This certification requires mastery of Dreamweaver in addition to experience with coding, graphics, and website management. The exam is 65 questions and the passing score is 70%.
"The Dreamweaver MX Developer certification represents a professional level of expertise in the activities that demonstrate an individual's competency as a Dreamweaver developer. A certified individual should thoroughly understand the Dreamweaver application, web page design, web page authoring, and supporting technologies".
The basic knowledge and skills required at this level and addressed in the exam include the following:

Coldfusion MX Developer Certification
This certification requires programming experience in addition to at least one year experience with Coldfusion. The exam has 66 questions and the passing score is 80%.

Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD)
Java is Sun's monster product that rules the Web. This is Sun's major Web developer certification. "This certification is for Sun Certified Programmers specializing in the application of JavaServer Pages and servlet technologies used to present web services and dynamic web content using Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) platform.

Certification consists of one exam and requires Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform (any edition) status".

Macromedia Flash Certification 
Macromedia is the sponsor of the Flash MX Designer and Flash MX Developer certifications. Each Flash certification requires taking an exam of 67/65 multiple-choice questions. The Flash Designer exam requires knowledge of Flash motion design, optimization and publishing. "This examination is based upon the most critical job activities a Macromedia Flash Designer performs". 

While the Flash Developer exam requires knowledge of relational database design along with one to two years of experience in software development and web design. "The Macromedia Flash MX Developer certification is based upon the most critical job activities a Flash Developer performs."
