This Cisco certification is an advanced level certification for individuals who wish to demonstrate expertise in providing field support for Cisco wireless LAN solutions
Requirements:
Candidates must hold the Cisco CCDA certification and pass one additional exam:
Advanced Wireless LAN for System Engineers 642-631 AWLANFE. The exam
validates the candidate's ability to successfully install, configure and
support solutions using the advanced feature set of Cisco wireless products. This exam tests the candidate's knowledge of WLAN basics such as RF, antenna theory, and 802.11a, b, and g standards and support of controllers and APs. The exam also tests the candidate's ability to describe, install, configure, and support the Cisco Unified Wireless Network products. Recertification: Candidates must recertify every two years by passing the current Wireless certification exam or pass a current CCIE or CCDE written exam.
